The company was founded in 1937 to produce swamp
grass cord for seating rush-bottom chairs and in 1940 the machine for
manufacturing vegetable cord was patented.
The patent belonged to Brandigi Ranieri and his son Teodosio, the current
owner's father.
Throughout time the company expanded continuously
and updated itself with new and more modern production plants which were
designed, built and installed by the engineers of the company workshop.
And thanks to this irreplaceable legacy of
creativity and technology, we are capable of satisfying the demands of the
international market.
Carlo Brandigi’s experience in the production of
paper yarn derives from 60 years of processing natural raw materials and paper.
All the experience we have acquired – from the first spinning machine for
vegetable cords, patented in 1940 by Teodosio Brandigi, to the modern plants
used today – are at the disposal of our engineers, our plants and therefore our
customers with their various requests and/or needs.
